Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location above your stove with proper ventilation and clearance requirements.
- Check Cabinet Structure: Ensure the upper cabinet can support the microwave's weight (minimum 50 lbs capacity).
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall and upper cabinet using provided hardware.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Ventilation Setup: Choose between external venting or recirculating mode based on your kitchen setup.
- Mount Microwave: Lift the microwave and hook it onto the mounting plate, ensuring it's securely in place.
- Final Connections: Connect the ventilation duct (if external venting) and secure all mounting screws.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and cooktop light.
