Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location above your range with proper ventilation and electrical access.
- Remove Old Unit: If replacing an existing microwave, carefully remove it and disconnect power.
- Locate Wall Studs: Use a stud finder to locate and mark wall studs for secure mounting.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall studs using provided hardware.
- Prepare Ventilation: Connect the ductwork for proper ventilation (external or recirculating).
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated circuit.
- Mount Microwave: Lift the microwave onto the mounting plate and secure with mounting screws.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting.
