Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location above your range with proper ventilation and electrical access.
- Remove Existing Unit: If replacing an existing microwave, carefully remove it and disconnect all connections.
- Mount Upper Cabinet Template: Use the provided template to mark drilling locations on the upper cabinet.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate screws for your wall type.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 15-20 amp circuit. Follow local electrical codes.
- Ventilation Setup: Choose between external venting or recirculating mode and install ductwork accordingly.
- Mount Microwave: Lift the microwave onto the mounting plate and secure it according to instructions.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting.
