Tools Needed:

  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and water.
  2. Check Clearances: Ensure minimum clearances of 3 inches on top, 2 inches on sides, and 1 inch in the back.
  3. Electrical Requirements: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15A grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
  4. Mounting Preparation: Use stud finder to locate wall studs for secure mounting of over-the-range models.
  5. Install Mounting Plate: Secure mounting bracket to wall using provided hardware and appropriate anchors.
  6. Hang Microwave: Carefully lift and hang microwave on mounting bracket, ensuring it locks into place.
  7. Final Connections: Connect vent duct if applicable and ensure all electrical connections are secure.
  8. Test Operation: Run microwave for 2-3 minutes to verify proper operation and ventilation.
