Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and water.
- Check Clearance Requirements: Ensure minimum 4 inches clearance on top, 2 inches on sides, and 2 inches at back.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Mounting Preparation: For over-the-range models, ensure cabinet structure can support microwave weight.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure mounting plate to wall according to template measurements.
- Ventilation Setup: Choose between external venting or recirculating mode based on your kitchen setup.
- Final Installation: Lift microwave onto mounting plate and secure with provided screws.
- Test Operation: Run microwave for 2-3 minutes to ensure proper operation and ventilation.
